We should start formulating corporate strategies by building up a shared vision of the future. We may start building up a vision allowing us to express out our dream and making us able recreating the future. Therefore, we may prospect trends, not like one intending to guess the future, but like one observing reference standards, behavior patterns in society, consumers, customers, competitors, suppliers and business partners.
Even if we do it in not a such scientific or rigorously analytic way, but in a rather institutive fashion; this should be then one of the practical outcomes of competitive strategy: creating a shared vision arousing the perception of patterns and trends, allowing us to perceive and discover new possibilities of business evolution and development.
